He is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and dancer.

Bruno Mars Biography

He was born Peter Gene Hernandez and was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Later in 2003, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career.

His brother has continuously worked as a drummer for his backup band. His sisters Tiara, Tahiti and Presley, as well as his cousin Jaime (she moved in with the brothers due to parental issues), form the all-girls musical group The Lylas.

Speaking of her mother, she was seriously ill, and when it was time for Mars to know, she returned from an overseas concert in May 2013 and immediately got on a plane to Hawaii.

Unfortunately, her mother died the next day (Saturday June 1, 2013, at age 55, at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii). According to the Associated Press, her cause of death was as a result of a brain aneurysm.

The singer had to move on with his life so on June 7, 2013, he broke his silence about the loss of his mother on Twitter, writing, “So grateful for all the love during the hardest time of my life. I’ll be back on my feet soon. That’s what mom wants, she told me.’

He is well known for his stage performances, retro showmanship and for performing in a wide range of musical styles, including R&B, funk, pop, soul, reggae, hip hop and rock.

He has his band, The Hooligans, who backed him up to play a variety of instruments, including electric guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, drums, and trumpet, and also serve as backing vocalists and dancers.

Bruno Mars Las Vegas

It is unbelievable that in 2021 it’s time to talk about Las Vegas as if it were the 70s, but for some time now the capital of Nevada has become the favorite destination of a series of highly commercially successful artists who are looking for another type of direct proposal.

Bruno Mars has been the latest to announce a residency in Las Vegas with Anderson .Paak within their joint project Silk Sonic , with which he has obtained a macrohit the size of ‘Leave the Door Open’; and in fact Mars already starred only in his own residence between 2016 and 2019.

Currently, Katy Perry is hosting her own Las Vegas residency, as spectacular, flashy, and camp as expected , and the venue is so hot that Katy is hosting the concert via Saturday Night Live this weekend.

At the ending of this month it will be Adele who embarks on her own residence in Las Vegas , with a series of concerts that will last three months.

Is true that her music is more for adults than for the TikTok generation, but not only adults may be listening to ‘Easy on Me’ right now, currently the most successful song in the ENTIRE world.

Bruno Mars Private Life

Mars has been romantically linked to singer and actress Rita Ora whom he first met in 2009. However, the couple split in 2011 due to work pressures and he began dating model Jessica Caban in 2012.
